I’m a writer of fiction and nonfiction, which includes my own blog. My most recent manuscript is shortlisted in the Word Alive 2010 national contest, and I have great passion to direct and present work to my clients that has been done in detail and with excellence.
For two years I had been a volunteer editor for Write! On, a weekly online newsletter catering to those in the writing, broadcast and publishing industry in Canada. I’m the editor-in-chief of the bi-annual newsletter, The Progressive Voice, and a Communications Director, maintaining accuracy for print, web, and other media.
For both creative and technical writing, my skills and expertise have been used in performing copyediting on other newsletters, short stories, a business proposal, nonfiction manuscripts, various letters, reports, bulletins, media releases, brochure and poster layouts, sales reports, and other alpha/numeric projects in volunteer and paid services.
I’m a longstanding and active member of The Word Guild and former member of the Editors’ Association of Canada (EAC). I’m detail oriented, customer focused, and have an aptitude to see things as my clients do and portray them accurately, even as I take it up a notch.
